Redington Fly Rods

Redington fly rods are not as well known as some of the big names. Nonetheless, they are some really decent fly rods at affordable prices. I own a CPS series 9' 6 weight rod and consider it to be just as crsip, and smooth, and powerful as some of the most expensive rods on the market. Great line control and sensitivity. All Redington fly rods except for the Crosswater is covered by a limited, original owner, lifetime warranty. Take a look at some of their rods below. NTiQ: The Redington Nano Titanium Quartz fly rods, were produced for Redington fly rods by Composite Developments (NZ) Ltd. CD-Rods claim to fame over recent years has been in the use of proprietary composites, such as the famed Nti (Nano Titanium) and NtiQ (Nano Titanium Quartz) materials used for Redington, utilising a new proprietary 66MSI graphite unidirectional prepreg, allowing the XLS to set new standards in blank sensitivity and lightness. The blank features an incredibly fast action with tremendous fighting power in the butt. They are extremely durable due to the combination of titanium powder in the resin and an external layer of pure Quartz. Not only does the Quartz add an extra layer of durability, it also creates the totally unique blue 'marble' finish of the blank. This is possibly the most technically advance rod blank ever manufactured, that's truly saltwater worthy, complimenting it with recoil double foot nickel titanium snake guides, a anodized aluminum reel seat, full-well cork grip, and a firm yet comfortable fighting butt. Line weights 8-10 and 12. Available in 3 or 4 piece models. Priced $495. This is a special closeout price, down from $725.
